2022 "Rainbow Cup" Tianfu Baodao Industrial Design Competition Final Evaluation Site Centralized Evaluation Standards and Rules

 To ensure the authority and fairness of the 2022 "Rainbow Cup" Tianfu • Baodao Industrial Design Competition, the organizing committee specially invited design experts, scholars, enterprise executives, and others with professional evaluation experience from domestic (mainland and Taiwan) and foreign industrial design communities to form a preliminary evaluation committee for selection.

3、 Work classification

The works are divided into 8 categories: equipment manufacturing, medical and health, digital intelligent information, consumer boutiques, rural revitalization design, furniture and home furnishings, cultural and creative products, and Future Star.

4、 Review criteria

(1) Overall standard (total score of 100 points)

Innovation (20 points)

Is the design concept forward-looking; The level of innovation in functionality, structure, technology, form, materials, craftsmanship, and ecology.

Feasibility (20 points)

Is the work itself feasible; Is the feasibility analysis of the technical structure in this work in place.

Scientificity and Social Value (20 points)

Whether the structural design and technical application are reasonable and exquisite; Consider positive benefits for society and ecology.

Aesthetics (20 points)

Color and appearance have visual appeal and appropriate aesthetics; Can the work express a sense of the times and a positive social outlook.

Achievement display (20 points)

Can you fully and accurately display the characteristics and functions of the work.

Note:

1. The score for achievements such as prototypes, physical models, and physical software in the work shall not be less than 15 points (according to the evaluation, providing videos and images for large equipment that cannot be displayed is considered as having physical models)

2. Entries that only provide videos must not exceed 10 points (except in special circumstances)

3. Entries that only provide images shall not exceed 5 points (except in special circumstances). 4. Entries that do not provide physical models, videos, or images shall not be scored.

5. The Future Star category is not limited by rules 1-4 and is determined by the judges themselves.

Virtual design such as VR and MR; Product design; UI service design; Internet products, etc; Electronic products.

4. Consumer boutique products

Jewelry category; Fashion consumption category; Footwear; Alcohol, etc; Daily necessities, etc.

5. Rural revitalization design

Overall solution for rural revitalization; Fine processing and redesign of agricultural and sideline products; Agricultural and sideline product brand design, etc.

6. Furniture and Home Furnishings

Furniture category; Home furnishings; Bathroom fixtures; Kitchen supplies; Household appliances; Interior design, etc.

7. Cultural and creative categories

Red cultural and creative products; Tourist attractions and industrial heritage creative products; Museums (cultural relics) creative design category; Practical product creative design category; Cultural and creative supplies, etc.

8. Future Star Class

Concept class; Works of college students, undergraduate students, and graduate students (including fresh graduates and current students).

5、 Competition Evaluation Rules

The evaluation of works is based on the "completeness" of the submitted work materials, and based on the theme of the competition, the participating works are selected one by one according to evaluation indicators such as "innovation, feasibility, scientificity and social value, aesthetics, and achievement display".

All judges will grasp the correct direction, adhere to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness, strictly adhere to the evaluation procedures, abide by the evaluation methods, and create a clean and upright competition style and discipline. The rules for evaluation are as follows:

(1) Review method (unified and divided)

1. A total of 216 works were selected for the final evaluation on-site centralized selection;

2. The evaluation experts rate the work based on the evaluation criteria and fill in the corresponding table with the scores.

3. The total score of the final evaluation shall not be less than 60 points.

(2) Rating Award Evaluation Rules

1. Select award-winning works based on their scores.

2. From the seven categories of equipment manufacturing, medical and health, digital intelligent information, consumer boutiques, rural revitalization design, furniture and home furnishings, and cultural and creative products, one gold medal, two silver medals, and three bronze medals will be selected in descending order of online and offline scoring scores based on this category.

3. Among the seven categories mentioned above, fresh graduates and current students from universities who have submitted works that have not won the level award can continue to participate in the Future Star selection. If they have not won the level award, they can return to their original category or stay at Future Star to receive the Excellence Award.

4. According to the online and offline rating scores of Huibusi, the Future Star category will be selected from high to low, with four gold awards, six silver awards, and eight bronze awards.

5. The works in the eight categories mentioned above that have not received level awards will receive the Excellence Award, with a total of 160 outstanding awards.

6. The online evaluation results shall be verified by the online final evaluation committee and sent to the designated email. The offline evaluation results shall be signed and confirmed by the offline evaluation committee after verification. Finally, the online and offline ratings will be summarized to obtain the ranking of this competition. The offline judges will review and sign their names, and the leader of the final evaluation committee will make a written summary of this evaluation work, which will be submitted to the competition organizing committee for archiving and preservation.

6、 Result publicity:

The award-winning works will be publicly displayed on the official website of the competition after being impartial by the impartial personnel.
